If your dealer is worth two dead flies, you'll go to the pond with all of them and test.

I have a 08 198 with series 2 hpdi. I turn a 25 tempest to 5900rpms 72 mph. 24 fury 6000rpms to 72.5. I have not tried the 25 fury but likely will have to raise the engine to turn the prop. I am going to run the 24 fury in the Summer months. Most people recommend one pitch down from a regular ss prop. You have to try them to know. Buy for tommyhabana sponsor on this site. $442 shipped to your door new and if it does not work you can get $400 from someone here. Lets us know how it turns out.

SURE SHOULD!!!
I turn a 26p Fury and run with a load 70-72 with this prop. I have tried the 25p and get my rpm's up but not the speed. That boat will turn a 26P even though some say it won't.

I run a T1 25 on my 225 HPDI Yama, 198 had it repitched to a 24 and added a little cup.Ran a 25 Temp plus oky low r's lift not real good or holding on pad.Tried 25 M about same little slower than temp, started out with a 27 T1 run good top but slow hole shot low R's.Tried Fury 25 runs about same as t1 25 around 5800 and 72 mph.for both. My 25 T1 that mark worked for me has me at 75.2 gps now 6100 Rs 2 1/2 inches below very good for this boat running high 73,s loaded. The reason i telling u all this you might be better off letting Mark work your prop as to buying new one and then sending it off latter. The 25 Fury might be the best allaround prop for u but that just what i think u really need to try it.I think the Mercury is geered a little higher than my Yama and a 26 would have your Rpms to low, my 2 cents worth. You are running the same water as I am and a 25P won't hold a candle to the 26P in the MO/Ark area. I would be happy to let you run my prop if I come down that way or we could meet up. If you have a good dealer close by they would let you run both and decide after that. RPM's on the ProXS do not need to be maxed out for the best speed IMHO. Have you ran the boat at all?
Will pick up the boat next Saturday am and dealer said I could run any prop that I wanted so I could decide on 1 for the boat. It is a new boat/motor and from the information that I can gather I thought the 25 Fury would be it. We'll see next weekend.
