I've got a quick question. I went to pull off my cowling on my 02 225 HO and the front lever came right out in my hand. It looks like the screw that holds it on backed all the way out and now I'm confused as how to get it off? Do I have to drop the lower cowling or is there another way to pop the lock loose on the front of the motor? Thanks

Sorry...If the handle fell out you may be able to pop the other latch and lift the cowling a little this should dislodge the broken latch allowing the cover to be removed.
