I am running a 97 model 115 intruder, the little motor runs pretty good but at wide open throttle on top end and trimmed out just rite it is turning between 5600 and 5800 rpm's.Is this safe or too much?Does anyone know what range is recommended for this motor?
Someone will post a link more than likely...but I have the 98 Johnson 115 faststrike...recommended RPM is like 4800-5200, with max at 5500...I usually try to keep it 5000 or less just to lengthen the life on it...
