Side Rails

Has anyone installed side rails on their boats?

I would like to do so to mount some rod holders for striper fishing on some of the nearby lakes.

This would actually be for striper fishing on Lewis Smith lake. Just had a guided trip there and now I want to go back! (but in my boat)

HAve you seen the rod holders that mount in the but seat mounts? I think they are kinda pricey, but they seem to be pretty neat and they won't ruin a bass boat by making it a catfish boat.
