The top of the crank is diffrent in 91 than the newer ones. The 04 ph will fit right on. If you use the electronics from the 91 all you'll need the 04 style encoder wheel to fit the 04 crank.

You can use the 175 carbs and heads on the 04 150. The 91's had some pretty agressive port timing so don't be surprised if you notice a small difference.

thanks for the tip on the timing wheel..didnt realize they were differant i planed on using the carbs off the 175 on the 150..jet configuration is the only differance in the 150/175 powerhead...are you saying i should use the heads off the 91/175...if it will make ANY differance i'll swap em..thanks

You can use the 175 heads but I'd use the 175 carbs too. Just use the 175 carbs with the jets that came in them. Some model 150's came with 175 heads. If the number is still on the head it'll end with 411.

The difference you see will depend on your set up and hull design. The 91 blocks had better port timing. It might all be a trade off and you'll see little to no difference. Certianly worth doing.
