New Champion

Well I finally found my new boat, new to me at least. Not nearly as nice as some of your rides, but I'm now a Champion owner! Had it out monday for the first time, love it!

Now that I have it registered, I need to put on new boat numbers... and create a signature like most of you folks. Is there an online place that anyone can recommend to order boat numbers from? I'd really like to match the deep red sparkle if I can, but I can't seem to find any place local that has anything close.

I'm glad to see another WI person getting hooked on ChampioN!! (I'm from Janesville originally). I have a 181 and love it. I'm headed for a two day tourney on pool 19 this weekend, its my first time on the Mississippi. The weather is not looking nice on Saturday, but I ain't scared cuz I got a Champ and I have seen it in action on nasty 3 and 4 foot whites
Good luck in your hunt for lettering, I have seen lots of great stuff from Crazy Elvis, so I would trust him to do whatever you need.

Here is a really nice site to buy your numbers online.....You get to pick out the fonts and colors and view it before ordering.....mine arrived in 3 days!

Thanks for the feedback, I just ended up ordering from a place in town, FastSigns. They'll be ready tomorrow. I figured that I could just get a set on quick, then worry about perfection later. I want to go out Saturday and don't need the hassle.

That signspecialist.com site sure is cheap. It would have cost ~$80 for the metallic letters (special order), and they were ~$25 on their site! I'll see how the gloss black looks and go from there.

So, I picked up the new numbers yesterday, and they screwed up the font, so they were free. After looking at them a while and wondering if I should just order new ones, I figured that I should just install them so I could go out fishing today. I think that I like that screw up font better then the original selection.... shhh!

Thanks for the tips on where to go if/when I swap them out!
