What motor, prop, rpms, speed are you seeing thinking about swap to the fury prop but will have to have it worked to a 27" currently running bone stock out of the box tempest plus 27" turning 5750-5800 rpms seeing 73.6 gps with two people empty livewell all my gear "9 rods and about 150 lbs of tackle and other misc. items" I might even just have my tempest B&B and see what that does!
Sounds like it may already be balanced and blueprinted! That seems to be a pretty good number for that "widebody"already. I was just talking to my buddy about maybe getting my rig up to 75mph. I would need a tempest, and probably have to get it worked. All of the sudden I am staring at a bill getting close to $1000. He says " The problem with that is, you can spend the money to make your boat go 75 but you know there will always be somebody driving a tissue craft that can do 80 or better." That said a lot to me. I just hit 72 with a Mark's worked trophy and two full tanks of gas and a full live well. I am thinking that with a light load I will see mid 73's on a regular basis. And I think that's good enough for me.
Well I know mine will do more but I just don't feel like taking the time to unload the boat!
