    Lots of Questions

I have a 91' 201. Single Console. I have a few projects on deck for my boat and I was going to check with y'all before I start them.

#1 Leaking rod boxes. I took all of my winter gear out of my box's this weekend and found that it was all soaked and I had about 6" of water in the corner. The boat was in the shop for a couple of weeks and the cover was off. We have had a lot of rain and I think that it was leaking by the rubber seal.
The question is How do I fix this. Where can you buy the rubber gasket stuff.

#2 I will be replacing my batteries, aerators, and bilge pumps soon
Should I post with pictures during the progress of this job. All I know is that I have to pull the gas tank and batteries out to get to them pumps.

#3 Champion Owner Tournament Texas. When is this happening and is it still at Rayburn.\

Thank y'all and sorry about the long post.

    Re: Lots of Questions (csmetreyeon06)

The way the rod lockers and lids were made on the 201, it's pretty well impossible for water to get in that way. There are drain holes in the corners that should have a hose on the bottom side. Make sure the hose hasn't come off or is cracked. Also, I think that the holes up on the bow for the transducer wiring is another place that water can get in.

You shouldn't have to pull the tank to get to the pumps. There is a cover under the batteries & oil tank that comes out to give you access to the bilge area. Be sure and change them all while you are in there. I remove the tank compartment lid and lay between the seats and over into the bilge to work. A lot easier than trying to work over the side of the hull.
