1993 Champion 204

I am looking at buying a very nice 1993 204 with a 200 Merc. I have owned a 202 in the past and really liked the boat. Any comments on the 202 as far as fishability, ride, handling and general comments would be appreciated. I am driving several hours to look at the boat, so any comments would be welcomed.

I might ruin a sale for someone, but you asked.

It by no means will be mistaken for your 202. Very difficult boat to setup, and at its best, was the second most mediocre hull they ever built, only surpassed by the 180 of the same vintage.

Mid sixties with a 200 merc, and the wettest ride ever offered in a champ.

Hello pat,

I just bought a 93 190dcx so i'm searching all over and find some older posts.Was
the 1993 190 a good model ? This one has a square cap on it and I would likt to know when they rounded the cap off like my 97 171 was.
My 190 has a 200 vindicator on it with no setback and a 24 raker.ran 60.1 on gps
altgough I didn't trim it up very high since it was my first run in it.Is there a hostorical timeline for all the models by chance?
