    Some Neat News!

I know the Redfish Cup is saltwater, but.....the 2 top teams in the standings for '07 will be running Champions for the '08 season!!! Number 1 is Bill Faulkner, and he'll be running a 210! Number 2 team is Brandon Buckner and his partner's last name is Pope. Buckner is running a 22 Bay Champ and Pope a 210. They will decide which boat to use at each venue!

I had no idea, but it seems more teams are now interested in running bass boats in the Redfish Cup. Pretty neat!

Thought y'all would like to know.

Lea I live on the Sabine River, I know people don't think you can fish these rivers down here with a Bass Boat(WRONG). These Champions perform very well in all conditions. The only draw back, you have got to take care of your trailer down here in this brackish water. Thoroughly wash after each use you'll be ok. Let me tell you these boats will perform on the Coast Line, been there done that.

    Re: Some Neat News! (Lea)

    Lea,

I live in south Louisiana, Hammond, I fish the Venice area alot, and have had my 171 Champ Bass Boat in The bays in the gulf out of Venice. I have run the Big Muddy Miss with the big bay boats hanging with them and most of the time being able to get to the fish in even shallower water than they can. My dad had a 24' Sea Pro Bay Boat loaded to the gills, and the Champ (No Lie) handles the water better than it. Even though it is 7' shorter. I can only imagine what a 20' Champ must ride like. One day maybe I will get one, but for now I am Happy.
