    E-tec pistons and heads

Hi, has anyone tried tunning an e-tec? i was wondering about bigger pistons and working the heads, would you get any more power from this or would the EMM compensate because of emmissions etc?
I currently race a 115hp ficht offshore in the UK and cant quite keep up with the tunned carbed 130 yamaha motors on a flat run, but in the rough i am proped well.

Any help would be great, many thanks and big hello from london!

    Paul

Re: E-tec pistons and heads (Phantom)

Go over to http://www.screamandfly.com and find MTS1. He has been working on some etec hop ups for the 6 bangers. He may be able to help you.

They have run lightened pistons, higher compression and the rev limiter removed.

I think BRP gave him the computer without the limiter so you might have a hard time getting one yourself.
