Only if it comes with a 1 year warrenty. Otherwise you can find them on e-bay and other
web sites for $1200-1700.
Depending on the condition of your bad case would determine the repair cost of it. Most G.C. problems are F.& P. gearset breaking up due to many possible causes. Thereafter, checking to see what else has been effected by the chain reaction of events taken place. Typically, if your housing is usable and Reverse gear is O.K., I usually get my customers by for around 650.00 - 850.00. By fixing what you have, you at least know what you're getting. A new F.& P. gearset is the heart of any gearcase, provided all the assembly work has been meticulously done! Hope this helps somewhat.
