    Pic of my Cajun project

I believe it was worth rescuing

A little rust stain where the old Brute 40 once sat.

    Windsheilds are in the garage.

Back deck is also in garage.

Seats, I am going to pickup tomorrow in Pa. Bought them from a BBC member. They are from boat seat store. They will need to be mounted to something first before they will bolt in.

This is where all my work is concentrated right now. That piece is rotted and needs to be removed from under a small layer of fiberglass. I am using a cutting wheel to get through. Makes a lot of dust.

I am blessed with being able to get to everything.

    Bill,
Did you cut that seat pan out already? If not I have an idea that will make installing the seats super easy.

The boat looks great and the seats are going to look perfect! That rig should handle the rough water just fine.

Seat pan is held in by screws, so it is removable.

Looking good. The 1900 Tournament is a fantastic boat and well worth saving.

I have the same boat just a different color. How's your restoration efforts going? Any new pics for us to see? I was wondering if you would mind sending me some detailed pics of different things on this boat that would help me with my restoration efforts? I would appreciate it very much :)

In fact if any detailed pics of mine will help you with your efforts or you have any questions and I can help please just let me know. I think you've chosen a good one to restore!!

Re: Pic of my Cajun project (racefan)

Your right having the same exact boat, I can vouch for it's capabilities on big water. Last year on the last day of McDonalds Big Bass Splash at Sam Rayburn the weather turned real bad. I heard two boats were sunk on that lake on that last day. Rumor had it a new $60,000.00 Legend went down. And another boat. Not sure which type. I was all the way across the lake in a cove most of the day. HOLY CRAP when I came back out the main lake 4 to 6 ft swells NO BS !!!

    She did real good !!!

4 to 6 ft swells NO BS !!! That sh*&^ Hurt. Constant bam bam bam bam bam for 45 min getting back the way in. It was crazy !!! In my boat I hadn't seen anything like it before or since and would rather not.
Prop came out of the water a couple of times as I would hit the crest of the waves. Didn't mean to but speared a couple of waves. NOT GOOD but didn't take on enough water to do harm. It was harsh but the boat did good :) I think I'll start a discussion question in another post about this for anyone with bad weather stories..... I don't wanna hi jack the project effort here just reassuring Enskyte that he made a good choice

Can't hijack this post. I am ass deep in this project. Just wanted to get some pics up to share.
Yep those 4-6s are same serious waves and I'm sure anyone who Tournament fishes will see something close or worse. Glad to hear your boat did fine. Stabbing waves really sucks. What size pumps does your boat have? bilge and livewell? Cause thats on the list.
