    Motor

If you were ordering a new 190, what motor would you go with? Mercury 200 Pro XS or Yamaha 200 SHO?

    Re: Motor (Rebel1)

hey Reb, give (vnvjames) an IM here on the boards. He just bought a 2012 200 proXS motor. I know it took him a long time to get his in from ordering. He can give you a honest opinion if he likes the motor or not. As for the 200SHO I dont know anything about it, but I would talk to someone WITH ONE first. With the price on these motors today a person cant just stay BRAND loyal anymore... Why not go with a Hydra Tec Phase III in that light boat?

Were pretty big boys Reb, ya gonna be happy with a 19 footer??? I am guessing its so it fits in the garage, but...

    Re: Motor (BlaznbyU)

I already know what motor I am going with, the 200 SHO. I thought about the Merc because its cheaper, but the 5850 rev limiter was the deal breaker for me, plus I am a Yamaha guy. If the 200 SHO is anything like my 250 SHO was, it will be a beast on the 190.
I already have owned an 190, so it will be a little small, but that is cool for now. I thought about another 202, but I have been there and done that. The 190 will do for now.

It should be a looker....Silver or Gunmetal boat, purple stripes, crimson red pins, and a black bottom. I will be at the Plant on Friday doing my order.

My buddy has a 200 SHO on his Stratos and she's a torquey little sucker! With a 25p vmax prop it will run about 75 with just him. Awesome motor.

190 with Yami 200 SH0 I would go back to the 202 with 250 SHO the trailer with the swing tounge should fit.

    Re: Motor (Rebel1)

Hey Reb...What about a 18 or 19 footer built along the same lines as the 625?

I heard a rumor that was being looked at one time, but I know things change and you prolly need a boat now

Hey Fear, you got it all wrong....I taught Greg everything he knows....you're welcome Greg.

I would love a 19ft. boat based off of the 625. I would love it more if it was rated for a 225. For now, I will have to dream and keep hounding Keith about it.

We have a 2012 190 Pro-V with a 200 Pro XS in a custom mix of gunmetal and silver.

Just to give you an idea of color combo.
