buying a blazer

looking to buy blazer soon what do yall think a 202 sc with a 200 yammi
would run mph not price sorry i realize thats a broad question not knowing jack plate or prop size or pitch just looking for best case

thanks i use to want a bullet till i really started looking at the blazer im really wanting a 202 with a 250xs or a 3oo merc and i really wouldnt mine having an etech

I really like my blazer and the way in rides and handles. I know here in East TN it seems everyone has a Bullet or a Triton and I know I would rather have a my blazer over a Bullet.
I do not know how the Etech performs on a blazer most people have Mercs or Yammy's.

there is a guy here on BBC in the Alabama forum that used to have a 202 blazer with an Etec 225HO on it. He could tell ya what his ran if you IM him. His username is: Jason Phllips

As for speed you also need to know if it is a flat top 202 or a round top 202 since the flat tops were faster

ive only seen one etech on a blazer and itsa 190 with a 200 etech and its on the boats for sale part of this site there are some cool videos of blazers on you tube

Wannablazer, There is a nice 202 with a 225 E-tech on it in the Nashville craigslist. Heck of a price too! Its in Smyrna, I see it every time I go to the lake!

hey i saw that boat on cl but couldnt tell if it was an etech or a reg evinrude cause of the cover if you fish priest alot maybe i will see you out there im usually in my buddies red bullet 20xd with a merc 250xs

unfortunatly im out on workmans comp with a ruptured disk and im waiting on surgery i cant even walk right now much less fish its killing me too but i will be out there before long hopefully in time to stroke a jig or throw my blade at night my buddy went out last thurs before the storms and caught some bass in the jumps mixed in with the stripe go getum good luck be safe

it def is not the most pleasent thing but im 40 so recovery i hope will be fast so i hope i can get a few night tournaments in before the end of the season and get on the river to catch my smallies i appreciate the speedy recovery wish thanks post how you did today curious to know what the fish are doing

I have a 97 202 with a 200hp Yamaha. I have never worked on the setup or tried to use any other prop than the yamaha prop and I run right at 70. It could probably run 73 to 74 if I really tried to get it there. However, I think I am ready to put it up for sale and get me a Champion.
