    202 setup

Just put a 2000 model 225 ox66 on a 98 model 202 blazer. What would be a good starting point for as prop shaft to pad and prop. Have a 12" rapid jack

    Re: 202 setup (brando1298)

I have a 15" inch rapid jack and a 26 txp ot4 set at 1.75 below, my boat is a 99 with the same motor...., My prop has all the holes open with a ring on it. I don't have a top speed to give but it handles very good with this setup and a good holeshot....

    Re: 202 setup (Rebel1)

Thanks. I have a 25 txp on it now and it spins it pretty hard. Just over 6000. Not sure of my prop to pad yet

I hit a rock with less than 2 hours on the motor and totalled it. I liked it during those first 2 hours though.

The higher you raise the motor, the better the boat will handle, so give it time.

You need to get it even with pad, chine walking is something you will over come by plenty seat time, but will get better if you raise the motor up.

My 99-202 would run 77-78 with a 225 Ox-66, but i did not play with alot of props to see if there was more.
