Hull dif between a blazer and bullet

I owned a Blazer 202 and now a Bullet 21 XDC and except for the extra length of the 21ft 10 inch bullet they sure look the same...

But bullet tried to sue blazer and lost so there must something different and I would sure love to know

Bullet never sued Blazer. There was a saltwater line of boats that sued them over their bay boats, I want to say Maverick? or something? They were not successful, it was decided that there is more to a boat than the shape of the hull. And since Blazer had made numerous changes in interior layout and features, it's not the same boat.

Well would a 20cc top cap fit on a blazer hull bc I can get a real good deal on one

the older hulls are the same, blazers have different tops caps. and they will run almost if not the same speeds as a bullet. i know i have a 202 1992 w a 260 runs 96mph.

Are you talking about that red and black one that was restored and the guy had it on craigs list? I saw pics of it on fastbass.com if thats the same one.

They look like the same hull.......but they are definitely not......weight, layout, etc.....all different.

Well what is dif on the hull meaning demsions. I know blazers are glass and bullets are Kevlar. I am not concerned with the top cap.

looking the photos.....The blazer will have more compartments up front for tackle storage. The bullet does have the center door for storage but, I don't really like it for that. I wish bullet had a compartment for about 5 or 6 planos...ADVANTAGE..blazer there....

The casting decks on the bullet will be raised a little higher.......personal preference on this one

The console on the blazer is a little bigger and has a indash mounting for sonar unit. Although you can mount just about any unit you want underneath the windshield of the bullet.........IMO.....toss up there......the bullet console is a little more streamlined.....IMO.

Both are running in top echelon of top end speed.

a 20xd/250 xs fully loaded with 2 good size men will run 88-90 loaded to fish.......just an example of a common setup.....I think the same setup on a 202 blazer would net out low 80's (81-82) but someone here can correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think you can go wrong with either brand myself

CPMoran, I think everyone has tried to answer your question, but it has changed several times from what is the difference in the boats, hull, and now specifically the pad. Straight from the Bullet and Blazer websites, the Blazer hull (202 model- 20") has a 92 inch beam and the length is 20'5", while the Bullet 20' model has a 91" beam and overall length is 20'1". They are not the same boats. In one of your posts you asked if one top cap would fit the other one's hull- not without some major modifications.
