Just got my prop back from Mark!

Got my 28 txp back from Mark. Had em' work it like Greg's but lightened up a bit with the pvs holes. Prop looks great and I can shave with it!

Ran it at 1" below like I always have. Hole shot is much better, (added 3 - 1 plugs to help with blow out) but it now turns 6 g's to 84.9 like before at 5700. Should I drop the motor back to 1.5" below to see if the speed picks up at all?

    Thanks for the help!

You need to raise the motor, not lower it.

Thanks Jason! I'll try it tonight...wasn't sure what to do since it used to run that speed at 5700 b4 I sent it. Gained 300 r's, but no speed...

It seems to blow out a bit coming over, too...thought dropping it a bit might resolve that? Are some of ya' feathering it?

    Thanks!

I always do with my TXP or ASX props, but not with my Hydromotive Quad IV-X OT.

There's no definetly way. Start off low and keep raising it till you can't lift the nose, water pressure gets too low, or handling gets ill then lower it a 1/4".

If you're running a fixed plate, you'll probably need to feather it a little.

I ran all over in the 84.x range last night with prop even with pad down to 1.25" under. At even with pad I lost pressure and didn't run it though...turned anywhere from 5900 to 6100 all at the 84.3 - 84.7 for top end.

Stock prop ran these numbers at 5700 at 1" under...

Have had 2 other props worked by mark and gained nicely on em' with my champ and stratos. This is my first head scratcher...

Sounds like Mark loosened it a little too much.
