RPM GUAGE'S

SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT.......... THE RPM GUAGE ON THE BOAT DASH IT SELF IS NOT ACCURATE?????? AT LEAST WHAT I'VE HEARD.
ANYBODY HELP ME OUT ON THIS????????

Please take off your caps lock...

Tachs are known to be 100-200 off... Some are way off...

If you are running the lowrance electronics and an HPDI, get the yamaha interface from Lowrance and you can get RPM's, GPH fuel burned, engine temp, fuel pressure, trim, and some other stuff displayed right on your graph and it is dead on...... my tach was off 800 RPM's at WOT..... 1 to 200 at lower RPM's.

My yamaha digital gauge is dead nuts... I can tell because when I hit the rev limiter at just over 6100.

It is a snap...it hooks right in where the techs plug in the laptop when they diagnose your motor.... I was messing with it this weekend and now I also have MPG data as well as GPH of fuel burned which is really cool.

Here is the one I used on mine, however I have the blue connector lowrance graphs, ie: LCX 110 and the x 25 ....

Now I just have to get a Lowrance unit for my dash. Just bought a 335c for the bow, but still got the Garmin piece at the helm...
