    phase II kit?

i have a 05' 210 w/ 250 hpdi and i am running 80.6 by myself. i was thinking about getting the phase II kit installed and getting my prop blueprinted but i was just wanting to know if the phase II kit kills the gas mileage? because right now i love the good mileage i'm getting. also wanting ideas on getting rid of the chinewalk...... thanks!

I'm an old drag racer and there is the old expression"Speed Costs Money. How Fast Do You Want To Go? In other words , increase air & fuel flow to feed the RPMs. There are probably some small areas in engine operation that will not suffer.

Running the motor higher on the jackplate will help with reducing chinewalk. Also bump the trim back down a bit when it starts walking to get more boat in the water until the boat settles down and then slowly ease the trim up until the bow comes up and the speed along with it. Usually; with a Blazer more seat time will just seem to make the chine walk disappear; until you say"what chine walk".

You nailed it Fear! a lil walkin' keeps ya alert and on yer toes...sides dat...ya aren't at yer max if it aint walkin just a lil'!

All fun aside, bump your motor height up a bit. It'll get better as you come up with it. Go a 1/4" at a time. Just keep an eye on your water pressure.

I think the fuel efficiency goes south cuz' yer foot is playin wit da' xtra umphh ya gets once she's been phased???
