Hydrodynamics told me not to do it. You need to use set back plates. They are more ridgid. As a matter of fact I have some that have been used on the water 7 times. I have them for sale on the jackplate forum.
[I]I see manual and hydraulics together all the time. what size hyd your looking at. Is your 10" a slidemaster?

Thanks mdzx225,
I think thats a C&O marine boat,is that hydrolic bolted to a manual?
the extension plate are the RIGHT way to go. chuk and george can build anything you need or want and do it right.
i have a 8" HD extension with a 6" bobs hydro on a 202 with a 300 pm 15"mid and works great.
