    Help with Tackle storage lid

Hey guys I have been hit by my tackle storage lid for the last time (Hopefully). Can someone post or email me a close up pic of their lid holder and mount. Mine does have a holder on it and since it is a '96 with just the one large lid it hurts pretty good when that thing slams on your head or arm. Or can I buy this in a kit from Blazer? I'm not sure why it doesn't have one the rod lockers do.

Randy, I put a lift shock on mine, so I will take some pics and post them.

may want to look at a replacement car hood shock you can pick up at your local auto parts store. should be easy to install and pretty cheap fix. just an idea.

I took one of the ones from the back deck lid and mounted it on the tackle lid. They were too stiff anyway with both hooked up. In fact I took both back deck lid shocks off and let the lid rest on the seat post when it is up.--- mike

Thanks guys, I actually just recently had to replace the lift shocks on the hood of my pickup because one went bad but the other was fine but replaced both. I think I can use this one then but I need some help on the best way to mount it.

Or maybe I should just buy this:

I'm sure it already has one and Man would that match my truck or what!!!
Plus, I could probably keep up with Jason in that one.
