    Blazer Customer Service

I purchased my blazer, 2006 210 from C & O Marine. My boat is only 5 months old.
I had to have the speedo replaced. Lucky for me C & O had one in stock. I also ordered two sterring wheel caps, being mine blew off around 65 mph heading to the fishing hole. The first one Blazer sent C & O was to big, so I sent it back. I am still waiting to receive my correct one. This has been going on for over four weeks now. Has anyone else had this type of problem getting replacment parts from Blazer. As I said my boat is only 5 months old and it does make me wonder what it will be like another 6 months to a year down the road. Has any one else had this type of problem, if so would love to hear what you had to do to resolve it. I would never had thought a simple sterring wheel cap would be such a problem to replace.

I have only had to deal with blazer customer service 3 times since I bought my 190 pro v dc in 2004 and have always had good experiences.

My Blazer is a 2001. From the day I ordered it till today, I can tell you in the strongest of terms that if you call Blazer boats and talk to Christy, George, they will do everything possilbe to solve your problem. I have even sent an e-mail to Keith and while he did not answer, he did have Christy get back to me.
I'm not sure what the problem is getting you a part for an in warranty repair or out of warranty repair, but rest assured the problem is not with the staff of Blazer Boats!!! Pick up the phone!

It's worse than that........the speedo that was sent to replace yours was a 65 mph model.....instead of the 80. The factory's serious response was that the 65 mph speedo "wouldn't make the boat any slower".

Re: Blazer Customer Service (Todd Morgan)

There seems to be a big communication gap over a small problem. In a time of advanced, high tech computer technology and voice communication, I am hard pressed to understand a steering wheel cap as a real genuine problem. I agree with Mr. Shakespere, "Much ado about nothing".

It's easy to view a missing steering wheel cap as not being "a real genuine problem"....when YOURS isn't missing.

Real customer service pays more attention to the smaller details becasue they are so small. If you can't handle the small problems, what makes a customer confident you can handle the big ones?

Just to let everyone know Blazer did come threw. They sent me Three new center caps for my steering wheel, and they sent me a new steering wheel and hub just to make shure I was happy. Blazer boats is really a stand up company !

I glad that you now have 3 steering wheel center caps, another steering wheel & hub assby., and Todd @ C&O has the correct replacement speedometer!!
