I have had a couple of opportunities to be in the presence of the moderator and can attest to his fine qualities but, I doubt I would use any version of the word "chat" to describe a conversation with him.
The man is known for his passions for both bassboats and Clemson football and, for being quite the conversationalists and could never be described as..."a man of few words."
