    quick question about vent plugs...

I have a trophy on my 210 and have one medium vent plug in it. With just me and full tournament load it does awesome on hole shot, even add another person and their gear and still does OK. The problem is when i fill the livewells my partner has to climb on the front deck to get the motor to rev past 3000 RPM. I have tried everything with the hydralic and trim and just cant get the motor to rev up. Do I need to add vent holes or take the one in it now out? I am almost to the point of putting 2 of the batteries up front since I have the 36 volt minnKota. Not looking for perfect hole shot but alittle humbling pushing water for 300 yards trying to get on plane with everyone watching. Thanks ya'll for the help in advance...

need to make that hole bigger. Either take the plug out, or go to the next biggest plug. That is the problem with the 1:62 gears. They are great for top speed, but hole shot will always suffer a bit compared to a 1:75 LU.

I agree with nsteere, try going up to the next size plugs,or take that one out and see if that helps.
