26 trophy will be a little faster and OK hole shot.27 Tempest will be even faster but hole shot will suck. The low water pickup is also slowing you down I had a 97 202 /200 carb merc with a Bob's and switched to a stock housing and picked up 1.5 mph. Also aan uncut 28 chopper2 works well also just a little slow on take off.![]()
Going to get the prop turned to a 26 pitch.![]()

Mike,
What was your motor height etc. on your 200 merc. I have a 98' 202 w/ 200 merc carb. Everything stock, but has a 4 blade prop that has the blades chopped... Not sure the manufacturer. Just looking for clues on setup.

I've got a 202 and when i first bought it, it had a 200yammie on it with a 3blade 25m and about 73/74 was all i could get! check your h2o pressure and go up with the plate some!
