    motor swap question

I'm looking at a 2007 model boat and motor with an e-tec. I'm a yamaha guy and was curious what would be involved in switching over to an SHO. Guages, controls, wiring, etc.?

    thanks!

Any idea of how much money the conversion would cost? I read where there may be some conversion wiring harness kits?

I am switching from Merc to Yamaha and the rigging and controls are supposed to be $1400.00. Part of this is replacing the Merc. Monitor with a RPM/Trim gauge.
One thing I did not know is some Hot Foots can be brand specific....that may have to be replaced as well....
