Just wondering how hard is is to change the T&T motor on a 200 Ficht? After I removed the cowl I could hear what I think would be the relay or slinoid sound. I would assume I am getting power. Just last wek my friends Merc did the same thing. We replaced his t&t motor problem solved. It lookes like there are 4 screws to remove but the back 2 don't look very easy. I don't have the motor in the trailer postion yet cant do it myself.

Use the manual release screw and have a friend help you raise it up, engage the trailer Latch. Remove the tilt ram pin with a wooden dowel, tighten the manual screw and trim the motor down it should come down, enough to clear the motor bracket. The assembly will come down towards you, now you can remove the motor.
See if this helps, go past the water pump replacement and there is a how to remove a trim unit or trim motor section.
