    New Bass Cat... maybe?

I'm looking to get a new BassCat possibly this weekend. I have an older Pantera now and am looking to upgrade big time. I heard Time on the Water Outdoors was having an open house this weekend and Ivan from BassCat will be there. I'm pretty excited just to see all the new boats they have in stock! Pretty positive I'll order this weekend too. All I've heard is good things about deals and service with them. The main question is what to order..... haha. Thinking an Eyra or Puma. It'll be nice just to see the new Skeeters there too so I can compare them side by side. Anyone else headed out there this weekend?

If your comparing a Skeeter to a BCB you will not be comparing very long.

Haha yeah, it's easy to say the ride and price won't even be close. Still nice to see a different brand side by side when making such a big decision.

I'm sure whatever you get you won't be disappointed! It is nice to see different brands side by side when deciding, even different models. Happy shopping! Don't forget to post pics.

Eyra/Puma two totally different rides. I'm a big guy and didn't feel like the Eyra had much more room behind the console than a PII where the Puma has a TON of room. The decks are totally different. The rides are different. You are going to have the guru Ivan there. I'd let him know what you expect out of the boat, get in all the boats you can including the Skeeters. I looked at them and several other brands before buying my first Cat.

IMO the best value out there right now in new is the Cougar Advantage. Hard to beat that boat for the money. The 225 will not be for everyone, I carry a HEAVY load and have the boat propped for such. Had my 08 Cougar out today with a STANDARD 225 turning a 25 Trophy to the limiter running right at 72. In the heat of the summer it'll fly out of skinny water with the live well full, two people and run 69 all day. More speed there but I'd lose the nimble quick down low.

They make a boat for every budget. Seriously take your time and honestly describe your typical fishing day to Ivan and he will be able to show you options.

    Happy Hunting.
