Question for BassCat Boats.

I just seen a 1988 Phelix advertised on your owners board,and have 1 question.What was the max hp for that little hull???

75 we think, though maybe 85 hp.

Pretty sure it was 75 hp. We had an old Mon Ark aluminum that finally busted so many rivets and cracked welds, we were trading it in on our first Bass Cat. I thought about just getting that Phelix boat and having them pull the Merc 70 off mine. Of course, the only one they had for demo was a Sabre. So the wife and I figured we would just splurge and get a Caracal. For a few bucks more at that time, we could just go ahead and step up to a Sabre.
Went from a tin boat, to looking at Phelix, Margay, Caracal and bought a Sabre .

Good thing they didn't have a Jaguar back then
