I have a EYRA with a 250 SHO. I am not impressed at all with the motor. So far I love the boat but im not getting the performance out of it that i think i should be. What should be my motor height and whats the best prop for the SHO on the EYRA. Im Currently running a 27 fury and max RPM's are around 5800-5900.

I think the rpms are about right. Doesn't the SHO max out at 6K? Also do you have a lot of steering toque? What speeds are you getting now?
I have the same setup but my prop is a 27T1. I run about 2" below pad. My speed alone (I weigh 250) with a full load and half full of fuel is 83 mpg. Loaded with two guys and 40+ gal of fuel it was 79 mph two weeks ago. I turn 6100+ rpms alone and a shade over 6k with two. The Fury is pitched stiffer than the T1
give me a shout sometime. I have access to some props that might help. The SHO'S i have delt with were beast. Got one sittin in my shop on a 625 blazer pushin 85 with my worked prop which is 2-3 mph faster than the 625's with a merc. Could be driver could be a strong motor dont know alot about the blazers. havent had a lot of dealing with the Eyra's but I do know there are two walls speed wise you run into with it. You have gotten past the first one sounds like. I have a 27 t-1 worked up to a 28 and Jason has a 29 worked down they both run good. i think with some increased height and the 27t-1 of mine you could do a little more damage.

Some guys are running the SHO around 6000-6200. Im pretty sure 6200 is the rev limiter. I just need to play with some props. It doesnt help that i been rutting up the mud in shallow water and my fury is not in the best of shape. Doug I might have to get with you so we can dial this thing in. My first tournament is Feb 4th. After that is a tournament every weekend for the next few months.
