Haven't heard of it yet. The guys with other brands I have spoke with tell me it runs like their txp's. Most say the yamaha props are the fastest on those engines.

I would expect it to be slower. It's just a ventless TXP. Will probably carry a load better than T1 but be 2 mph slower on top.

I got a 27 FXP today, and can turn it right @ 6000 rpms and it ran 79.8 , 50 gals of fuel, full tourney load, 2 225lb guys, and my boat is loaded (too dang much) water temp 46-49. The hole shot was not nearly as good as the 26 Fury, I was disappointed because all I heard was great the hole shot with this prop is, but I didn't raise the motor at all, perhaps that would help with the hole shot?

Ok any "gurus" feel free to chime in.

    Thanks

    Re: (djrener)

Keep some of that gas money and that will get it out of the hole better.

Sorry I had to say it.

If the prop is not vented that is slowing the hole shot some.

I didn't think you were supposed to run vented props on SHO's?

I tinkered with the motor height and got her dialed in a little better, and the hole shot improved dramatically. With the motor at 1.75 below pad, me (225lbs), a aprx 42 gal of fuel , full tourney load , wells empty, it turned 6030 rpms (WOT), at about 3/4 of the trim, 22psi water pressure and 82.4 mph. I think I can move up a little more and use less trim, thus not losing any speed and having a lot flatter ride at higher speeds. That's one thing I've fallen in love with about this boat is its ability to run at higher speeds and being able to run a lot flatter than othet boats. Simply an amazing hull and the SHO is a great match for it.
