    Refurb Hull

My boat looks very sad when it is not in the water.

I have this haze on it that I cannot get off... I have not tried sanding, before I did I wanted to see if anyone knew of any products that would take this off. The clear spot you see turns back into a thick haze after about a week... I just did this part 10 minutes ago.

What are my options, other than the last resort of sanding.

Might post this in the restoration forum. Have you tried a high speed buffer with the 3M pads and polishes?

I would wetsand with 1000 grit to start, then use heavy duty compound, compound-polish followed by the wax of your choice.

Here is the link to the restoration forum if you didn't find it. There are a lot of helpful guys there that can probably get you shining like new again if you're willing to put in the effort. From what I understand it takes a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to bring some back to life but most can be done as long as the gel coat isn't completely gone. Good luck and keep us updated as to the progress.

Will Do, Pro-tec is going to email me some stuff, but everyone has been helpful... I seen a Sprint 286 pro out on lake keystone last weekend and it was a pretty boat... I get compliments on mine when its wet. haha
