    Got some swimbait molds

The swimbait bug got me last year so I figured what the heck, might as well have some fun and try making my own. My molds came today. Got a 4", a 5" and a 7".

Gonna be a learning curve but should be fun. My biggest issue will be keeping it simple as color ideas fly through my head way too much....

TXsteve, I poured/injected for about 25 years. I used to get my molds (including the one above) from places like Del-Mart (Del Wilcox), basstackle.com, caney creek, etc.

I gave away thousands of dollars worth of molds, plastisol, production pots, etc. My new hobby is rod building...it's even more expensive!
p.s. Mark, what brand/formula of plastisol do you plan on using?

M-F Plastics is just down the road from the house. Spoke with them and they are taking care of me as far as plastic. Made me a deal price wise on it that is hard to beat. as for the molds not sure what is going on as they are no longer up on the site where I bought them and not sure if they are discontinued or not. Called a few times and emailed but no reply. I hope they ares till available though.

M-F was always my favorite. I can't tell you how many gallons of Super Soft I've gone through over the years. If you're dealing with Del-Mart and waiting to hear from Del or April...good luck
