    Time keeps on running

I did a stupid thing the other day. I was adjusting my trim guage and left my key on all week. My question, without the motor running am I still going to show all those hours on the motor. 2006 225ho E-tec. Or will they show at 0 RPM??? thanks

Re: Time keeps on running (EtecRanger 205)

My dealer did the same to me while in for some work unrelated to the motor. I had asked them to scan it before I made a trip out of town. They left the key on until the battery was stone dead, not even enough juice for the fuel guage to work. Anyways, I asked my tech that. He told me that as far as overall hours are concerned, it only racks up time with the engine running.

there is a timer on the motor running and also the emm with the key left on the emm will show how many hours it was charged by the key being on but not on the run time of the motor , two clocks one for each
