    XB 21 pro sport question

Have any of you guys seen the XB 21 Pro Sport 2+2 with the “Trash Receptacle” in the middle, converted to a rear bench seat?

I have never seen one now that you mention it...I do remember seeing it as an option though on the order sheet. I bet that would look cool. Thing is, how would ya get up to the back deck without stepping on the seats? Why don't ya call Allison and ask Mrs. Allison if she has any pics of it and the details?

Well, I dint think much about stepping on the seat. How do the 2003 guys get to the back deck?
The only time I would use it is family time and skiing.

Re: XB 21 pro sport question (lakeozark bassboater)

When I owned a 2003, i only used it for fishing and would leave the bench seat at home. Theres really no other way than to step on the seats unless youre tall. But then again, Im unfamiliar with that particular model. A call to ALlison or even to Lee Sanderson at Sandersonpropeller.com would get you a quick answer.

ARe you sure you'll ONLY use it for sking on LOZ...how in the world can you go by all those docks without fishing them??

I have a 2003 and the only way with the seat in is to step on it. When dad and I are just fishing we take it out. You would have to be pretty tall to step straight to the back deck and I am only 5'8" so you can count me out

Re: XB 21 pro sport question (AllyFishing)

I too fish with my 2+2 a lot and I can see a problem. However, if it had 3 modified individual jump seats or folding seats which can easily turn into a step wouldn't be a bad idea.

Don't feel bad. A lot of boats are slow.

Re: XB 21 pro sport question (RobShaw1)

Ohhh. Not at all for JUST skiing. This is why I am thinking about this boat. To fish, to ride, to take the family out, to ski, to go to lake bar/resteraunts, cove put, and then blister those Fountains and cigarettes when they hammer down.

I want this to be the best of all worlds and the last boat I NEED!!

Re: XB 21 pro sport question (lakeozark bassboater)

My two cousins have cottages on LOZ. Greg has 3 boats; a cruiser, deck boat and a house boat. His sister and her husband have a cruiser and a 40 something footer Cigarette. That thing hauls. I pushed him a bit one day while aboard for a ride and had him get it up to 85 and there was a lot left over. He hasn't had it near there since. LOL!!!

From what you say you are looking for in a boat then the 2+2 would be the ticket. A full bench seat would be cool too. I had the pleasure of riding in the 2 seater like Rob's and I was surprised and very impressed at how roomy it is with it being a 2 seater. More room than in any other 2 seater twin console. Very very sharp boat. If I were still into tourny's like years ago that is what I would have.

Either way you will love the Allison. And I know how rough it gets on LOZ; challenging to run to say the least. Especially on the weekends. I did, however, enjoy the party cove my cousin took me to. I didn't want to leave. My eyes hurt til I left!! LOL!!!

I have on 2003 and I use the step on the left side to get to the rear deck. I thought that was what is was there for. Just like the one going to the front deck. Maybe I am missing something. I am a slow Arkie after all.

I forgot about that little step. I use it sometimes but if I am in a hurry I just use the seat.

I am starting to get excited knowing " mama" is on board this year, and this deal might go down and I being " in the family"this year. I am also excited in the potential to change seating around to meet the needs of those going to the lake with me on a particular day. I spoke with Bill at Allison on all the parts and things I need to make this an all purpose boat. After looking at the Allison web site, it looks as if what I want to do with the rear bench seat would make it like the SUV prosport. He also suggested a good ski pylon for me to look into and even offered to order it for me if need be. I can believe how helpful they are, and I have not even joined the family yet. Keep your fingers crossed boys, looks like it might work out this year.

    Ozark,

This will be your last boat. You won't want another. And yes, you do get what you pay for with Allison. Wait until you call them three years from now and they remember you and where you're from, and that boat they made just for you.

    Re: (Duane Harper)

I tend to use the step getting up but not on the way down.

If you buy enough replacement parts they seem to rememeber you even with an old boat like mine.

When your family members call in to get you shirts and coats for Christmas they remember too somehow.

    William,
    That would be a ProSport.
Allison makes a Sport Utility Boat, (SUB) and a tournament version, same hull just different options.

i was just looking at Lee's pictures in the signiture. the red and white boat with the rear bench seat is what i am thinking about. i called the factory, and they said the can sell me what i need to put the bench in. and it really was not that expensive.

Thats the SUB. The tall guy driving is Lee.

I may have ALS but ALS does NOT have me.
