    Sold my boat and looking!

The skeeter has found a new home before I picked up a replacement. I am looking at an allison 02-03 or a 20cc bullet. Looking for someone that has either that wouldn't mind giving me a chance to ride and look at one and maybe make a day out of fishing with them. There dosn't seem to be to many up here in Michigan so the farther north the better. Any thoughts on pro's and cons would be great. Thanks Scott

If you really like to fish get the 03 or the Bullet. If you really wanna go fast get the 02 or the Bullet. All will do any, just some better that the others.

Power for power the 2003 is going to be faster than a 20' Bullet also.

I only know of five or six Allison's in the whole state of Michigan. There used to be someone with a 03 in the irish hills area. I have a gs, if you want a ride and to check fit finish on it.

    You really think Lee?

I always thought the 20cc's had longer legs than the XB2003. If you mounted a 280 or 300 drag to each, the XB2003 has a aero limfac that keeps it to 106-107 mph. Pauls had a 20cc comp to 115+.

    Darth,
Guess I should have said your average 20' XD true fishing bass boat and up to a 225 Pro Max.
I never ran an XD with a 280 so I can't say, but I have ran my share of XD's with 225 PM's and they are a good 5-7 mph slower than a 2003 with the same engine.
When you mention Paul Nichols with a Bullet, that's a different league you must agree.

I think Paul in a 20 cc is like Shook in a 2002 considerably faster than most want to push their rigs

Completely agree about Nichols. I just mentioned 20cc because that was the posters Bullet of choice in his original post and the CC's are known to be a faster boat than the XD.
