Most prop guys will tell you they can go up or down 1 degree. Roughly 150-200 for a repitch.

Usually can only go down one pitch. You can go up quite a few pitches, not just one from what i've been told my prop shop.

Re: Adding pitch to a prop (I NEED SPEED "B")

One can not truely change the pitch of a SS prop. Many shops claim to be able to but the truth is only the cup and leading edge of the blades can be changed. Basically you can change the rpm's around to act like more or less pitch but it is not as effective as the complete blade being placed on the tube of the prop at a different angle as it would be with a different pitch. In most cases it is better to decrease rpm's by adding more cup than adding more rpm's by decreasing cup as this mainly creates a higher slip ratio and loss efficiency.

He has only been working on the motas and Ally's for a couple of years!!!

Lee gave me more insight on the 2+2 than anyone I ever talked too...I just wish I could get him on the phone again!
