Although i have had my Allison for several weeks now i just got a chance to take it out today for the first time today. I had to keep the RPMs down because of the motor breakin. And more importantly and unexperienced Allison driver. I should have bought one of these rigs WAY back. I have had and fished with guys that had just about every brand of boat on the market. I have NEVER rode in a smoother riding boat on a lake with 2 foot chops at 77 MPH before in my life!!!!!All i heard when i bought the rig was guys saying how rough they rode. Now its amazing how folks know so much about something they never rode in. One of the guys that fishes with us has a Champion and when i got back to the launch today had just put his boat on the trailer so i asked him if he wanted to take a ride. He couldnt believe how smooth the Allison took the chops. BTW i know where someone can get a heck of a good deal on a Champion!!! He said he would have an Allison soon
. Its amazing that you can be running 75 MPH punch it and not be able to get to the bottom of the hot foot. I still got a lot of seat time but im very happy with the progress for really the first time to run one. Some of the stories i read on here made me feel i may not be able to get the hang of driving it. But all i can say is i hated to see it get dark today i was having a blast. Any advice i'll be gald to take it. Im running a 27 TXP and i was pleased with the way it handled.
