1998 Ruse Vindicator (just shutdown on me)

Was out the other day @ WOT and all of a sudden I hear a noise like I hit something with the prop or something blew up in the LU. So was sitting at idle after I hard the noise cause I was scared I did something bad, and she shut off on me, I tried to start her and she idled rough, bogged down when trying to get on plane and stalled, This happened two more times and then out of no-where she started up and flew @ WOT with no problems for the rest of the day.

Only thing I can think of is, I just swtiched gas tanks (two tank boat) before this happened. The fuel was 3 months old and I beleive the summer blend. The noise could have been a backfire , not sure or maybe I hit a plastic bag or a weed bed.

Anyway, since you guys are the pros on Rudes, does that sound like the start of a problem?
