I would do a little more research, make sure the transom and stringers are still good, one soft spot tends to make me believe there's probably more to the story than the what's visible to an un-aided eye. If everything structurally checks out, minus the soft spot in the floor, I say go for it. It's not a difficult fix at all. I would also look at parting the motor, and re-powering. 1000 for the boat, 3k for a better motor, and you should have a pretty decent rig
I agree with you. Always seems to be more wrong than what the eye can see. I found these boats on craigslist. Just trying to figure out best route to go.
no! lol the older skeeters are known for rotten floors/stringers/transom's so unless you wanna fix it all then thats not a bad price. Do a search been alot on here .
