    Update on updates post

Dropped my boat off today to get the fuel filter replaced under the recall, asked the service mgr since they would have it fired up to have the tech install the latest updates and he said they didn't have them,I said I figured if you sell em you would have the updates then it became well it's no small task to which I said he updated in like a few minutes last year when he switched to XD100. Am I being fed a line or is it really a time consuming process to instal 07 info?

Got a call at work Fri afternoon from SVC mgr. They had called BRP about another customers motor and found out they didn't have the latest updates so he appologized and now has the updates for my engine to be installed while I wait tue or Wed of next week

Re: Update on updates post (Hawkeye)

The updates on all the inline series engines can be done in 30 min, it depends on how much work they may have in front of you. The filter replacement is about 45 min, the inline programs are about 10-15 min, depending on whether you need the conversion program. Could be that he doesn't have the filters in stock, has to wait on them.

Normal time is 2-4 days on parts orders unless they get the BO. , I hate that.
