    Rough ride

I recently got a 99 zx196c with a 200 vmax on it. It will beat you to death if you try to run under 40 or so. Any thing I can do to make it ride better at slower speeds? It's got a 12 inch jack plate and a 24 pitch four blade prop about 4" below pad.

with full gas tanks you have to run trim down alot at slow speeds. make sure the jack plate is not too high. you cant seat 3 across, someone has to sit in the bow on the floor. trade in that 4 blade

What kind of prop would be best? Right now it will run 62 GPS @ 5200 rpm's.

A Yamaha 25T1 would be a great prop. If you can't find one of those then a Turbo TXP 25P.
At 4" your prop is riding pretty low. I found on my boat when I raised the motor it flattened out the ride and the porpoising went away. I can go down to about 20mph and still stay on plane.
I run mine at 3 1/4" below pad.
