    Carpetless bass boats

I know several companies make bassnbay type boats that have the layout and storage of a bassboat with the floor of a center console. I keep thinking something like that would be ideal for the type fishing I do and want to do in the future. Does anyone know what companies offer those kind of boats?

I believe Ranger has one like that...or at least used to. ProCraft made one like that. Quickrelease has one.

Are you looking for a center console bay type boat or a bass boat with a saltwater type deck?

The best of the bass boats like that IMO were the old 186 & 202 Champions. They are tough to find since not many were sold. Not sure of anyone putting that type of finish on a topcap today, maybe Triton?

Plenty of bay type center consoles to choose from ranging from skiffs to full blown bays.

    Triton (did and does)...Stratos (did)...Skeeter (did)...Champion (did)...Ranger (did and does)...Procraft (did)...probably others too.

I'd look for some of the "dids" before I entertained a "does"j ust for price. I know of a Stratos I'd buy in a heartbeat if I could right now...

The 21' model would be sweet for redfishing.

    Re: Carpetless bass boats (Reelsore)

some sweet set ups for sure. I was thinking one of the bass type boats. The thing with a true center console is I won't be able to get it in the garage. Maybe I need a detached garage??? I mostly catfish or live bait fish and so I really appreciate the non carpeted surfaces. Probably a 21 ft walleye boat with the saltwater floor finish would be the best for my kind of fishing but I dont think that will ever happen in my price range.

Nitro made the 884 with snap in carpet. I'm sure they still make an intracoastal model.

The Skiff Cat is all you would need for Cat Fish or live bait fishing. The Bay Cat CC lays over to fit in a garage. It's still a big boat, ask Bill.

Like I said when you get into the center console area there are a BUNCH of choices out there as most salt water boats have the interior you are looking for. Seems lie Roddy has a Kenner he takes to the coast.
