    voting procedures

A few qualms I have about voting procedures

    1. With all the high speed computers we have available that can do millions of calculations per second, I think all of our voting should be some type of electronic method (even including voting online at our home computer), this way there can be results instantly.

    2. The electorial college sys. should be scrapped, its outdated, should be like a ball game, 1 man 1 woman 1 vote, who ever has most points total on scoreboard wins. No more win 60% get 100% of the vote.

    3. We can bank online safely , trade stocks, buy sell fishing equipment, buy fishing license, and a million other things safe and securely, we should be able to vote online, it would be way safer and more accurate than our current system.

Washington State went to 100% mail-in, essentially making it "absentee voting" for everybody. The advantages are that you can vote early, usually about 2 weeks early. You can also do some research and figure out what the issues are and who/what you want to vote for...or against. You are not confined to 5 minutes standing in a booth flipping levers or punching holes. Almost no way to do it wrong. Should cut down on the jokes about old folks in Florida, another good feature.

Too much fraud to vote from PC. Ya gotta be there in person.

With out the Electoral College the higher population areas like CA and/or the 13 colonies would be the deciding factor for Pres. every election. Your KY vote and my MS vote would be worthless.

    NOT a good idea.

Comparing it to the analogy of points on a scoreboard, each point scored by a team is the same , none worth more than the other, so with the most total votes, Each vote would actually be Equal. Electorial college system is essentially affirmative action only in voting.
