Well my day started with a phone call from a customer that repowered his 23' boat that had a 1996 200 Johnson and we installed a 200 HO Etec. He swore he had a problem with his engine. He went on to say how the advertising stated that he will save money at the fuel pump. And we told him the same as he took delivery of the rig. Well he ran offshore for the first time this weekend. He filled up and it cost him $200.00.. He then stated it cost him the same last year to make the same run. I then said ok. You stated cost how much fuel did you take at the pump. He stated 50 gallons. I then asked him how much did you take last year. The phone went dead. He then stated I guess I am saving money.
