Way to go Texas on the death penalty

All the other states should take lessons from the great State of Texas on how to properly administer the death penalty. They just executed one of the Texas 7 who was convicted of murdering an Irving police officer among many other crimes. He has only been on death row for 12 years. The last inmate executed here in Florida had been on death row for 30 years. Something is wrong if Texas can put in a speed lane so can we. A good friend of mine his mother was murdered in 1989 by a whack job neighbor. This idiot didn't like the family so he put poisoned their coca colas with a chemical called thalium nitrate I think. The case made big headlines and the guy was caught and convicted. He is still on death row today sucking up our money. The son works for us now at the police department, and made a great officer. But I see what it does to them waiting year after year. God bless Texas.

With all new developments in science like DNA evidence and in some cases video surveillance they should be executed immedietly after convicted. I would have to say that if three different labs did the testing and if they all came back to the same defendant then let him fry.

They don't need to set dates for execution, give them no forewarning when they will die.

Amen. I have spent the last 27 years putting them in jail and it gets more and more frustrating. I finally retired and stayed on part time a few years ago.

Yes he was. Name was George Trepal and was a member of MENSA. Super high iq married to a doctor. My buddy just got a call from A&E Network a couple of weeks ago they want to do another show on it. His brother was nearly killed too.

My grandpa says that everyone on death row needs a jersey with a number on it. That way the warden would could get out the old style lotto tumbler and pull a number out. The winner gets a round to the head right there in yard in front of all the rest of 'em.

That might make some of these aspiring murderers and violent rapists and other heinous criminals think twice of the 3 hots and a cot state/ fed insurance program.

Bring back the gallows at the county square and televise it, the crime rate would drop.
