First I want to say that I do not have the model # in front of me but maybe I will not need it
I have a 1998 Johnson 200 Venom, I have always ran 93 octane in it . I have been told that 93 will build more carbon and cause problems. Is that true?

The experts will give you an answer later but I suspect they will tell you that 93 octane burns a lot hotter and can cause the pistons to burn.
