I've used XPS for years, but since they raised their price I think I'll go with Cabela's brand this year
Hey Rodney, how come u didnt go to the classic with the rest of them??
I like the viscious flouro - and that's what I've been using for like 2 years now. Haven't had a problem with it yet.![]()

Ive had pretty good luck with the 20lb.....
I used Vicious for several years exclusively. However last year I couldn't keep it from breaking. I've switched to Seaguar and won't use Vicious Flour again.
Do still use their copolymer for topwater but only because I've got so much of it and haven't had any problems with it.
Did you ever contact the company and inform them about the problems you've had..they should know if their line is problems like that..

I bought the regular vicious and it broke alot. I now use the vicious elite flouro and never had one issue with it. I bought a $22 spool of seagar and it broke when I would take casts. I never even got to catch a fish on it.
I used the Vicious fluoro last season no problems but just recently changed to the Elite vicious still haven't used it yet maybe next week but it's much more manageable just putting it on i could tell but will it fish as good waits to be seen.
