Try camp dry. It might work. or rainX. That'll make the water bead off too.
I thought there was some special stuff for newer gore-tex type stuff???

THIS^^^...Revivex. If your rain gear is Gortex STAY AWAY from camp dry or any product that contains silicone. The silicone will clog the microscopic holes in the Gortex and make it non-functional. Your rain gear will be water-proof, but the Gortex will not breath.
